With many people working from their homes and practicing social distancing during the COVD-19 crisis, connecting with co-workers and loved ones through video calls has become the new normal. Our team, from Bare Tree Media, wanted to find a way to use our illustration and animation skills to bring a little fun and enjoyment to the world.

We started off creating fun illustrated backgrounds to use in our own internal video calls. Friends and family saw them and wanted to use them as well. Next thing we knew, some of our brands expressed interest in having their own video call backgrounds created and shared. And thus, Unique Virtual was born.
